3×1 DIET® FOR DIABETES CONTROL

The 3×1 Diet is actually a nutrition plan designed to restore metabolism. Both diabetes and obesity issues are actually problems with metabolic imbalances involving the body’s nervous and endocrine systems. Behind every uncontrolled diabetes and obese person there are nutrition imbalances that the person is creating from a lack of accurate information on the quantities one should consume for each type of food: proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

Lots of Food Types A and E Diet 3x1The emphasis of the 3×1 Diet is placed on providing a simple and easy way to understand how to achieve a proper balance between proteins, fats and carbohydrates, taking into account the fact that each type of food you eat has an impact on the nervous and endocrine systems. Diabetes is a “metabolic disorder”, as defined in any medical dictionary, and as such one has to regulate metabolism in order to control diabetes.

It’s a shame we have to use the word “diet” to explain this issue. This is because “diet” is a word contaminated with negative experiences of starving, suffering from not being able to eat what one likes, having multiple prohibitions of “do not eat this or that”, in addition to over a thousand other “expert opinions”, many of which contradict each other and do not lead to a good control of diabetes nor to a permanent weight loss for those who need it. The word “diet” comes from the greek word dayta, literally, “manner of living.” The 3×1 Diet®, rather than just being a “diet” is part of a “lifestyle.”

Over the years, the 3×1 Diet has proven to be a simple and effective system to control diabetes and obesity without the need of “counting calories” or other complicated diet systems. The first thing to know is that there are fattening foods which excessively increase blood glucose in a diabetic. We call these Type F (ENEMIES of diabetes control). On the other hand, there is another food group we call Type S (FRIENDS of diabetes control) that helps diabetics keep their glucose levels under control and even lose weight.

Diabetes is defined as a “metabolic disorder”. The 3×1 Diet is designed to achieve a HORMONAL BALANCE that makes it possible to regulate glucose levels while reducing a diabetic’s insulin requirements.

Diabetics who apply the 3×1 Diet along with the other recommendations contained in the book Problem-Free Diabetes, such as drinking enough water (hydration) and supplementing with magnesium (an essential mineral to reduce “insulin resistance”), are able to lower and control their glucose levels in addition to slimming down if they are overweight or obese.

The book Problem-Free Diabetes provided more detailed information on how to implement the 3×1 Diet to control diabetes. Remember to always consult your doctor and get their permission before making any changes to your diet. Diabetes is a serious condition that requires the expert supervision of your doctor.
